  • Museum Welcomes New Board Members

    The H. Lee White Maritime Museum recently thanked out going board president Richard Bush for his long support and commitment to the Maritime Museum and the former Oswego Maritime Foundation. Bush continues on the board as a trustee and to also serve the organization in a variety of capacities through programs such as Family Boat Building and as the Museum's Facilities Coordinator Chair.

     

    The H. Lee White Maritime Museum Board of Trustees voted in two new members at a recent annual meeting of the board. Pictured are newly elected board president, Christine Gray, new members Don Smith and Rick King and Mercedes Niess, executive director. The board meets the fourth Tuesday of each month. The mission of the Museum is "to promote, protect, enhance and collect the maritime historical resources associated with the Oswego River and its drainage basin, the Oswego Canal and Lake Ontario.
