Lighthouses have a special place in the hearts and minds of many and serve, much as they always have, as beacons of hope and sanctuary. As stewards of the Oswego West Pierhead Lighthouse, the H. Lee White Maritime Museum at Oswego is responsible for spearheading the physical restoration, historic interpretation, and public access tours of the iconic symbol of our City. To celebrate our community's pride in our maritime history, the Maritime Museum has curated an Oswego Lighthouse themed photography exhibit being unveiled as part of the Annual Waterfront Open House - May 15th, 1-4 pm.
The Lighting the Way: Oswego's Lighthouse in Pictures exhibit , sourced from regional photographers, features both in-house and virtual components. Photography will be exhibited at the Maritime Museum located on Oswego's West 1st Street Pier between May 15th and September 6th during regular museum hours. Click here to view the exhibit online!
